identifying climbing vines

Flashlights, lanterns, sleeping bags or blankets, pillows, pots and pans, utensils, cooler, rain gear, folding chairs, campfire wood are all essentials for a great camping trip. There are times when I can hardly stand the hectic atmosphere of small towns.

Gas lanterns give off bright light but are noisy and will be the most expensive of all lanterns to operate. If you carry your backpack for long periods of time, It can eventually affect your entire body, particularly your back. Be sure to stretch before you go hiking and take break often.

The first couple times you go hiking, your arms and legs will be noodle city afterwards. On the east coast we simply put up with the rain. Winter-weight camping tents can be purchased, although sometimes they can be heavier to carry.

Find an experienced ice climber and spend a day with them. You will need to replace shoes every so often, but it is really a minor expense compared to other sports.
